The Wetland Lair

English style Art’s and Crafts home in Denmark. Completely restored to the beauty it was 80 years ago. In this project, I’ve touched every squaremeter, every surface. All the while implementing principles for connecting the owners with nature.

Bog Hill Road

A complete renvation, a massive extension, transformed a near derelict house North of Copenhagen into a 400 sqm Scandinavian and Chinese inspired home. A wonderful frame for a life with kids and long term visiting grandparents.

Apple Farm Road

Magic happened when architect Anders Barslund took over architect Olaf Hansens house from 1950. The house with many fine, modernistic expressions was the perfect playground for new experiments with color and space.

The Farm

The couple wanted a piece of architecture that would convey their appreciation of nature and they wanted to feel connected to it through materials and expressions. A harmonic base, where they could find peace and quiet. The rest was up to me…

Bird Hill Tweet

In the house in Frederiksberg, one is a DJ and dreamed of getting his collection of records up in the living room, the other is a dentist with a penchant for straight lines. Together, they found out how to make the colorful covers an active part of the decor.

The Stepping Stone

On the Cape

Right up on the ridge between Begtrup Vig and Ebeltoft Vig, the westerly wind whips across a small collection of holiday homes from the 70s. How do you harness views and create shelter here?

The Hazel Thicket

When entering, you are led by the light into the heart of the house, to the kitchen. There is something about our brains that loves to see a clearing, or loves to build an expectation in the body about something new, just around the corner. So the little touch of light at the end of the hallway, tells a story of the house one enters.

The Pillow Factory

My first project as an independent creative. Complete rebuild of a pillow factory in Herning.

Boxed

Boxes. All arranged like small houses surrounding an inner marketplace. Here the fireplace becomes the centre of the marketplace.

Cantilivered Life

Life on the edge. A collection to make fully vaulted saddle roofs with large overhangs that shoot into each other.
